AyuGram is a Telegram app rebuilt from exteraGram with several Telegraher patches. The app focuses on managing message history, online status privacy, message filtering, and customizing indicators for edited or deleted messages.
Message history and chat storage
AyuGram saves message history directly instead of storing it only as temporary cache. As a result, the history remains available even after the cache is cleared. The app also includes an option to save chats associated with accounts or conversation spaces from which the user has been removed or blocked.
History management can be customized. In addition, read statuses and message history can be synchronized through AyuSync. This feature is intended to keep conversation data aligned between AyuGram and its synchronization service.
Ghost mode and privacy controls
Full ghost mode allows the online status to be hidden from other users, including when messages are sent to them. Its settings are flexible, allowing the mode’s behavior to be adjusted according to usage needs.
AyuGram also supports screenshots in secret chats and does not perform emulator detection. Both capabilities are listed as part of the patches carried over from its original project.
Message filtering and display customization
The message filter can be used to filter certain types of messages, including hiding promotional messages. Indicators for edited and deleted messages can also be customized, allowing them to be configured according to user preferences.
An expiration button is also available for photos and videos that use a viewing time limit. This feature concerns media expiration settings, not message history storage.
Additional features and crash reporting settings
AyuGram lists local Telegram Premium as one of its features. The app also states that it contains no ads. To help developers handle app issues, AyuGram uses Crashlytics for crash reports. Report submission can be disabled through the exteraGram Preferences menu.
