Bottom notifications is a notification management app that moves the notification panel to the bottom of the screen. This position helps users read, open, reply to, snooze, or manage notifications from an area closer to their hands, using a floating button or a swipe from the screen edge.

Customizable notification panel

The panel provides 20 display styles, ranging from a simple list to a wheel layout, along with 35 animations for opening and closing. Notifications can be snoozed with one tap, dismissed with a swipe, replied to, or controlled through the media player. The Actions section displays codes, links, or numbers found in notifications so they can be opened, copied, or shared.

Automatic rules for notifications

Users can create rules based on apps, words, categories, contacts, time, or phone conditions. Criteria can be combined, nested, or inverted. These rules can mute, snooze, dismiss, or hold notifications; allow the first message to appear; remind users again; copy codes; press notification buttons; open, reply to, pin, or protect notifications.

Notifications can also be customized with sound, vibration, flash, screen lighting, or text-to-speech. Twenty templates are available and can be reordered by dragging.

Buttons, gestures, and screen lighting

The floating button can be designed with different shapes, colors, borders, surrounding icons, and 56 animated icons. It can display an album cover or spinning record while music is playing, as well as a charging ring. The app can also move it when the keyboard appears, when a full-screen app is opened, or in specific apps.

Personalization and optional services

The panel supports Material You, 75 themes, a theme editor, icon packs, and custom app icons. It also includes widgets, full lists including lock-screen lists, an icon strip, a notification counter, a lock-screen notification panel, Tasker or MacroDroid integration, and backup and restore.

The animal feature displays a pixel-art dog or cat walking along the bottom of the screen, with 16 dogs and 19 cats to choose from. The Accessibility Service is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, it helps detect the keyboard’s position, perform Back, Home, and recent-app actions through gestures, and run rules on notification buttons. This access only checks the presence and position of the keyboard; the app states that screen content, typing, and personal data are not read, recorded, collected, or sent.
