Wizard, Anyway! Gameplay
Before fighting, you select up to five active spells and tailor them to your preferred playstyle. Spells for clearing groups of enemies can be combined with single-target attacks or defensive abilities, so changing your spell setup also changes how you approach waves and bosses.
Equipment can be enchanted to trigger additional attacks, emergency healing, barriers, or cooldown reduction. Because enchanting can fail, you need to decide whether to attempt an upgrade immediately or craft Protection Runes first to safeguard valuable equipment on the next attempt.

You can equip five active spells at once and arrange combinations to suit the battle. Each spell’s different behavior provides a choice between area attacks, single-target damage, and defensive support.
Spellbook Upgrades

Equipment Enchantments
Weapons, rings, armor, gloves, and boots can gain effects that influence how you fight. These effects include additional attacks, offensive abilities, protection, healing, and the management of cooldowns or resource costs.
Dungeons with Different Objectives
Each type of dungeon prioritizes a particular reward or challenge, ranging from surviving to earn gold to fighting bosses in search of spellbooks. This variety encourages you to adapt your strategy instead of repeating the same combat pattern.
Multiple Progression Paths
Battle rewards can strengthen your character through gold, crafting materials, spellbooks, and exchange currencies. Adventurer Seals can be exchanged for equipment and materials, while Magus Sigils open chests containing spellbooks.
Clear Combat Effects
Spells bring bursts of color, lightning, frozen projectiles, and summoned creatures to the battlefield. The animations still help you recognize the impact of each attack even when many effects appear simultaneously.
