Review Game Battle Royale Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier

Square Enix has just released several gameplay clips from its latest battle royale game, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, on Twitch. Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is shaping up to be a battle royale shooter unlike any other.

At the very least, the game will feature monsters from the Final Fantasy universe. These beasts will roam the map and may randomly attack players.

The game is set in Midgar before the events of Final Fantasy VII. Players will take on the role of aspiring SOLDIER candidates who must use all their abilities to survive.

The short trailer shows that players will be able to use firearms, magic, and close-range combos involving kicks, punches, and weapons such as swords.

Players can make use of nearly every magical element and the signature shields found in the world of Final Fantasy VII.

These powers include defensive options, such as creating a shield to block incoming projectiles, as well as offensive abilities, such as throwing fireballs and summoning monsters to assist in battle.

In addition, there appear to be various support options available. For example, players can heal teammates or create a small cyclone trap that allows them to reach a certain height.

Judging from the recently released trailer, players appear to be able to wield three different spells at once, with each skill requiring a different amount of MP.

Each skill also has a level displayed beside it, although it is not yet entirely clear how to level it up. Likewise, Square Enix has not explained how these skills are equipped.

Close-range combat will also be an exciting part of playing Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, alongside the more traditional long-range combat typical of most battle royale games. The advantage players gain from melee attacks is, of course, that their movements cannot be heard by opponents.

Materia will also be featured in Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier. First introduced to the series in Final Fantasy VII, Materia consists of items that allow characters to grow stronger and acquire new skills.

In The First Soldier, Materia serves much the same function, enhancing a character’s magical abilities and making them more formidable.

The release date for Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier has not yet been confirmed, but players can register for the Final Fantasy VII beta, which will be held from June 1 to June 7.

Square Enix has only stated that the game will be released for iOS and Android sometime in 2021, with the month yet to be confirmed. However, since this is a multiplayer game, it may receive a limited launch before being made available globally so the servers can be tested and feedback can be gathered from numerous players.

As is often the case with mobile multiplayer games, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier will be free to play on both iOS and Android.

However, Square Enix has not explained in detail how the game’s in-app purchase system will work.

Battle royale games generally offer battle passes that allow players to obtain various items as they level up over the course of a season.

There are usually free and paid versions as part of the in-app purchase system. In addition, there may also be items that players can buy using in-game currency. These may include skins for characters, weapons, or abilities.
